My GrandTree

On 23andme if you have a grandparent or more than one grandparent tested you can use the GrandTree to see a cute little visual that shows how much DNA you inherited from each grandparent.

(You always inherit 50% of your autosomal DNA from each parent, but they give you a random amount from each of their parents, so you will get an *average* of 25% from each grandparent, but not necessarily *exactly* 25%)

I share an unusually high amount of DNA with my paternal grandmother.  34.5% (2588 cM, 29 segments)

I find it interesting that I have sharing with my paternal grandmother on every chromosome except the 22nd.    On the 22nd I seem to have inherited DNA primarily from my 2 grandfathers....
