Abraham Slocum was the son of Ebenezer Slocum and Bathsheba Hull.  Abraham Slocum was born 29 Jun 1730 in Dartmouth, Massachusetts.

Abraham Slocum married Abigail Smith on 16 Aug 1749 in Dartmouth, Massachusetts.

Some researchers have indicated that Abraham died in New York in 1769.  This seems unlikely if he had a son born in 1773!
