Juliett Friar aka Julia Friar

Juliett Friar was the daughter of Jonas Friar and Anne Haskill.

Juliett Friar was also known as Julia Friar.

Juliett Friar was born 22 Jun 1850 in Hope Township, Durham County, Ontario, Canada.

It appears that Juliett was called Mary Friar in the 1851 Census.

Juliett Friar was living with her mother and siblings in Hope, Ontario, Canada at the time of the 1861 census.

Juliett Friar married Joseph Hill on 18 Mar 1870 at Port Hope, Ontario, Canada.

Juliett Friar was living with her husband Joseph Hill in Hope, Ontario, Canada at the time of the 1871 census.

Juliett Friar was living with her husband Joseph Hill in Ontario at the time of the 1881 census.

So far I have been unable to locate Juliett in the 1891 census.

Juliett Friar was living in Ontario at the time of the 1901 census.

Juliett Friar was living in Grantham, Lincoln County, Ontario, Canada at the time of the 1911 census.

Amazingly, this may be a clue to my Jonas Friar brickwall, because "Penn Dutch" is listed as her tribal origin!!!!

In the 1921 census Julia is living in Grantham, Lincoln County, Ontario, Canada. Her father is listed as born in the USA and mother born in Ontario.  Her tribal origin is listed as English

Juliett Friar died 1 Jul 1938 at Grantham Township, Lincoln County, Ontario, Canada.

Juliett Friar was buried at Victoria Lawn Cemetery, St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada.
